Renovar*te is an informal group that aims to promote pedagogical renewal and consolidate the identity of the FFCS, within the context of the Portuguese Catholic University, based on the principles of Ignatian pedagogy.
Our goals:
- Review the literature on pedagogical innovation, identity, values, and Ignatian pedagogy;
- Diagnose the pedagogical methodologies and practices currently used by teachers and their results at FFCS;
- Identify the best national and international pedagogical practices;
- Understand the perceptions and behaviours based on Ignatian principles among teachers and staff;
- Produce a document identifying the desired Ignatian-based pedagogical model, with theoretical assumptions, dimensions, components, strategies, partnerships, actions, goals, expected results, and monitoring indicators;
- Implement and monitor the defined actions;
- Evaluate the results and adjust the model/practices/means/actions;
- Disseminate the results;
