As part of the REAGIR (university extension) project, promoted by the Gonçalo da Silveira Foundation, in partnership with the Portuguese Catholic University and the Catholic University of Mozambique, an International Meeting dedicated to Service Learning (ApS) was held on 26 February, between 10 a.m. and 1 p.m. an International Meeting dedicated to Service Learning (ApS).

Under the theme ‘Good practices, institutionalisation and international cooperation’, the meeting provided a space for reflection and sharing on the consolidation of ApS as a pedagogical methodology integrated into the university mission and academic extension.

The programme included a background session on the institutionalisation of Service Learning at the Catholic University, the presentation of projects developed in Portugal and Mozambique — namely in the areas of Psychology, Social Work and Management — and a moment of dialogue between teachers and students from both institutions.

The initiative highlighted the joint commitment to a socially responsible university that promotes transformative learning and international cooperation.
