D. José Cordeiro and Ricardo Rio in dialogue at ‘Exchange of Chairs’ at Católica Braga.
Next Thursday, 16 January, at 9.15pm, the Primate Archbishop of Braga and Spain, José Cordeiro, and the Mayor of Braga, Ricardo Rio, will ‘exchange chairs’ during a conversation that is expected to be full of interest, which will take place in the Atrium of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga.
In this initiative entitled ‘Changing Chairs’, the conversation will be moderated by Luís Santos, a columnist and lecturer at the University of Minho (UMinho), with the aim of revealing, in a simple and unpretentious way, the depth of human, social, political, ecological, religious and spiritual paths in the world, in Portugal and in the city of Braga.
Free entry
Organised by the Centro Universitário dos Jesuítas de Braga (Academic Centre of Braga - CAB), in collaboration with the Comunidade Vida Cristã em Portugal - Braga and the Associação aCABados, this ‘Exchange of Chairs’ is part of the monthly meeting ‘sentir e gostar’, whose main objective is to alternate a moment of prayer with art and a moment of dialogue on themes that unite faith and life, exploring pertinent themes to discover what politics and faith have in common.
The organisation hopes that the evening will make a significant contribution to the personal lives of those present and to the social and professional communities and organisations in the city of Braga.
The event is free to attend and does not require registration.
