Incentive grants support admission to the Master's Degree in Applied Social Gerontology

The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) – Braga has opened applications for six incentive scholarships, worth €1,000 each. These scholarships are intended for graduates who wish to enroll in the Master's Degree in Applied Social Gerontology, starting on March 4, 2026.

Known as Dr. José Castro Scholarships, their central theme is longevity, one of the greatest social achievements of today, but also one of the great challenges of the future. The aim is to encourage advanced training in the field of Social Gerontology, preparing professionals capable of responding to the emerging needs of elderly populations and promoting well-being, autonomy, and social inclusion.

Applications must be sent by February 18, 2026, exclusively by email to the following address: gerontologiasocialaplicada.braga@ucp.pt.

The results will be announced by February 20.
