On 26 June, the director of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Bruno Nobre, SJ, and lecturer Catarina Vieira da Silva represented the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University at the UNIJES Board and Council, which took place in Madrid.

The Board, made up of the rectors and directors general of the institutions in the network, and the Council, the governing, consultative and advisory body of the Provincial and his delegate for UNIJES, are central bodies in defining strategic guidelines for the work of the network.

The main aim of the meeting was to present the various higher education institutions that make up the network and to reflect on possible forms of co-operation and the construction of common strategies.

UNIJES - Universidades Jesuítas is the network of university institutions linked to the Society of Jesus in Spain and Portugal, and the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences is the only Portuguese representative in this area of international collaboration.
