The Catholic University of Portugal - Braga opened its doors to future students and carers for the Psychology Degree Open Day, promoting an encounter of proximity, sharing and discovery. Organised by teachers from the 1st cycle, with the involvement of staff, students and mentors from the MENTORIZATE programme, the main aim of this event was to showcase, in an experiential way, an education that is committed to academic and human excellence.

The Open Day programme included a reception with the Pro-Rector of the Portuguese Catholic University, Paulo Dias, a mini-lecture on social networks and mental health and a session with parents on the role of the family in the academic career of young people. After a guided tour of the facilities, there followed a round table discussion moderated by the Director of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Bruno Nobre, where students and alumnae shared their testimonies with authenticity and enthusiasm. These moments reinforced the sense of belonging and showed how training in Psychology at Católica Braga transforms lives - inside and outside the classroom.
