From January 26 to 30, professors Ana Paula Pinto, from the Humanities department, Cláudio Carvalho, from the Philosophy department, and Manuel Antunes da Cunha, from the Communication Sciences department, participated in Module 2 of the I+M Training Course of the UNIJES – Jesuit Universities, which took place at the Casa de Espiritualidad San Ignacio in Salamanca.

The initiative brought together around 60 professors and administrative staff from Jesuit universities in Portugal and Spain, including the University of Deusto, the Pontifical University of Comillas, Loyola University Andalusia, ESADE – Escuela Superior de Administración y Dirección de Empresas (Ramon Llull University), IQS – Instituto Químico de Sarrià (Ramon Llull University), as well as the Colegio Mayor Universitario San Agustín, in Santiago de Compostela.

As part of a training program promoted by UNIJES, the main objective of the meeting was to deepen knowledge of the identity and mission of the Jesuit university, based on the Ledesma–Kolvenbach paradigm, promoting critical reflection on teaching, research, and university culture. The program included thematic sessions, collaborative work, and moments of personal and community reflection on professional practice in the context of the educational mission of the Society of Jesus.
