On May 28, the Executive Training Academy of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga held the workshop ‘Positive Psychology and Logotherapy in Organisations’ at the Maria da Fonte Interpretive Centre in Póvoa de Lanhoso. This initiative brought together academic knowledge and practical applicability around the theme of well-being in the workplace.

The session was the result of a partnership between the Municipality of Póvoa de Lanhoso and the Executive Training Academy of the Catholic University of Braga, in collaboration with the Póvoa de Lanhoso Business Association. The aim was clear: to promote a new vision of the role of organisations in promoting mental health and a sense of purpose among employees.

The workshop was led by Ana Cláudia Fernandes, coordinator of the Advanced Training in Positive Psychology and Logotherapy at UCP's Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences. The session was introduced by Ana Salazar, coordinator of the Executive Training Academy.

The initiative highlighted the contributions of positive psychology and logotherapy as fundamental tools for building healthier working environments, with a focus on meaning, motivation and personal and collective fulfilment.

This training event is part of a series of actions that the municipality has been promoting with the aim of strengthening skills in local organisations and fostering a culture of well-being and human development in the region's business fabric.
