The Portuguese Catholic University – Braga Campus reinforces its commitment to student well-being through the launch of the extracurricular activity UCP2 Be, promoted by the UCP2 Mental Health project. Aimed at first-year undergraduate students, the initiative aims to strengthen socio-emotional skills essential for academic and personal success.
The programme kicked off on 4 February 2026 with the initial self-awareness module, with 12 students already participating. Over the coming months, weekly experiential meetings will enable the development of emotional self-management and learning skills, social awareness, interpersonal relationships and responsible decision-making.
The initiative aims to equip participants with cross-cutting skills that facilitate not only academic life, but also personal growth and preparation for the job market.
