The Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences at the Portuguese Catholic University is accepting applications for the position of Assistant Professor in the field of Psychology, in the subfield of Clinical and Health Psychology.
This competition is open to candidates with a Ph.D. in Psychology and a relevant academic and scientific background, particularly in the field of Clinical and Health Psychology, with a specialization in Assessment and Intervention with Children and Adolescents.
The contest aims to promote the following activities:
a) Conducting scientific and research activities in the field of Clinical and Health Psychology, with a particular focus on the assessment and intervention with children and adolescents;
b) Teaching courses in the scientific fields corresponding to the job posting’s profile, contributing to the various academic programs offered by the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences;
c) Conducting and participating in research projects, including externally funded projects, as well as producing and disseminating scientific knowledge;
d) Supervising and mentoring students, particularly in the context of doctoral dissertations, master’s theses, and other academic work;
e) Participation in academic management, scientific organization, evaluation, and community service activities, contributing to the mission of the FFCS and the Portuguese Catholic University;
f) Development of activities related to the dissemination of scientific, technical, and cultural knowledge, as well as national and international academic cooperation.
