On Wednesday, May 27, the Catholic University of Braga will host the “Celebrating Volunteering” event, a gathering that marks the conclusion of the volunteer activities carried out by students throughout the academic year. The event will take place at the Camões Campus and is part of the Voluntaria*te project.

The initiative aims to recognize the commitment, dedication, and social impact of the various projects carried out within the academic community, while also fostering a space for sharing experiences, socializing, and strengthening bonds among participants.

The program begins at 2:30 p.m. with the reception of participants. At 3:00 p.m., the Language Buddy project will be presented, focusing on language mentoring, inclusion, and interculturality.

At 3:30 p.m., there will be a ceramics workshop led by the ZAGarte studio, where participants will be invited to create a symbolic piece inspired by their volunteer experience and the human impact of this mission.

The afternoon will continue with traditional games, group activities, and musical entertainment, fostering team spirit and camaraderie among the students involved in the projects.
