On 9 October, at 11:00 a.m., the 2nd edition of Peer Mentoring 4 Success: Where it all Begins! will take place, marking a special moment of gathering and celebration of the strength of the academic community, in rooms D7/D8 in Building D of the Camões Campus. More than just kicking off a calendar of activities, it is the starting point for relationships of trust, sharing, and joint growth among students, which make the university experience richer and more human.
In the first part of the programme, mentors will have the opportunity to participate in Module 1 of the UCP4MENTOR training, a training programme developed by the UCP4SUCCESS project and aimed at all mentors from the four campuses of the Portuguese Catholic University. In the second part, MENTORIZATE welcomes all its members, providing an opportunity for mentors and mentees to share experiences and best practices.
The integration of Buddies into this group reinforces this mission, accompanying foreign students in their cultural, social and academic adaptation, in a gesture of welcome that reflects the true openness of the Catholic community.
The culmination of this spirit of mutual support takes place with the pairing of new mentoring pairs and a moment of conviviality, symbolising the beginning of another cycle of learning, integration and friendship that goes far beyond the classroom.
