Bio

Tânia Oliveira is a Guest Lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University, Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS). She has a degree in Biology from the Faculty of Sciences of the University of Lisbon, a Master's degree in Psychology (Ethology - Behavioural Sciences) from ISPA - Instituto Universitário de Ciências Psicológicas, Sociais e da Vida and postgraduate degrees in ‘Sleep Science and Medicine’ and ‘Clinical Trials’.

Since 2001, all her research and teaching has been focused on Neuroscience, the study of the Brain and Behaviour, developing work in the areas of behavioural neuroendocrinology, psychophysiology and the neurobiology of sleep and pain. He works in the areas of Biomedical Sciences, with an emphasis on Health Sciences, Social Sciences (Psychology) and Natural Sciences (Biological Sciences).

She collaborates with various international research teams in the fields of Medicine, Psychology, Biology and Biomedical Engineering.

She has experience in laboratory management and techniques in the areas of electrophysiology, immunoassays and molecular biology (DNA extraction, quantification and amplification).
