He completed his PhD in Philosophy at the University of Comillas in 2016. He graduated from the Portuguese Catholic University in Philosophical and Humanistic Studies in 1995. In 2000, he completed the Second Cycle at the Jesuit School of Theology at Berkeley in the USA in 2003 and the First Cycle of Theology at the Gregorian University in Rome.
He teaches in the areas of Contemporary Philosophy and Philosophy of Religion. He is interested in Phenomenology and the key issues between metaphysics, the philosophy of knowledge and the philosophy of emotions.
He is a researcher at the Centre for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies and Coordinator of the Degree in Philosophy, both at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of UCP - Braga.
