Applications are now open for a research fellowship in Psychology

The Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), through the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies (CEFH), has announced a call for applications for a research fellowship in the field of Psychology, funded by the Foundation for Science and Technology (FCT) under the framework of the reseach project "SCREENED: The effects of sharenting and parental media mediation on children's".
 



Admission Requirements:

General requirements:

Candidates for the research grant must hold a master’s degree in Psychology or related fields.
 



Specific Requirements:

Candidates must also have knowledge/research experience in the following:

Collection of quantitative data.
Quantitative data analysis using statistical analysis software (SPSS, AMOS or equivalent).
Scientific writing and participation in publications or presentations.
Applied research in psychology, preferably in the area of the project in question, namely child development.

Domain of the Portuguese and English language (spoken and written).

Candidates for the Research scholarship must also be enrolled or commit to enrolling in a course that does not lead to an academic degree that promotes the consolidation of their scientific training.

The competition provides for a monthly living allowance, personal accident insurance, and support in accordance with the terms set forth in the FCT Research Grant Regulations.
 



Applications will be accepted from May 26 to June 09, 2026, and must be submitted by email to concursos.cefh@ucp.pt.
