On the 3rd of June, the Isidro Alves Auditorium of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) – Braga Regional Center will open its doors to host the IV Philosophy of Religion Day.
The fourth edition of the Philosophy of Religion conferences will take place on the 3rd of June, between 9.30 am and 6.30 pm.
The main objective of the session is to reflect on reconciliation and reparation, in the context of the crisis of abuse and war, as necessary conditions for opening paths of healing and peace.
Although certain fundamentalist currents with a religious content are associated with conflicting ideas, religion has also been an important historical factor in promoting personal harmony and social stability.
In this sense, the event features several thinkers in debate on this topic, with emphasis on Josep Maria Esquirol, essayist and director of the interdisciplinary group Aporia.
