PhD in Social Work at ISCTE - University Institute of Lisbon, Master in Social Work and Social Policy and Degree in Social Work from the Higher Institute of Social Service of Porto. 
Between 2005 and 2018, she worked as a senior technician in Social Work in a Private Institution of Social Solidarity whose area of action is the fight against poverty and social exclusion, where she coordinated and participated in several projects. 
Between 2018 and 2020 she assumed the teaching position in the Psychosocial Professional and Technological School of Porto.
