Short Biography
Filippo Batisti is currently a postdoc in philosophy of mind at the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies at the Catholic University of Portugal in Braga, Filippo Batisti works on the relationship between philosophy of language and post-cognitivism in psychology, with a focus on linguistic relativity, which was the topic of his Ph.D., under Luigi Perissinotto, at Ca' Foscari University of Venice. He's also interested in several themes related to cognitive and cultural diversity among humans, such as pluralism in epistemology, inclusive language, contemporary anthropology, cross-cultural psychology.
He's editor at The Journal for the Philosophy of Language, Mind, and the Arts, and he's part of the Scientific Committee of the CLAVeS Research Center at Ca' Foscari, which he founded in 2019.
