- Develop an understanding of statistics and probability (concepts, methods, techniques, and reasoning involved) that enables students to grasp the importance of statistics and its application in social work research;
- To make statistical language and notation, as well as their meaning, understandable by illustrating their application to specific problems;
- To develop practical skills in the analysis and interpretation of statistical data, as well as to master the specific vocabulary and appropriate language necessary for understanding the scientific literature on statistical analysis in Social Work.
