Internship and Seminar in Social Work I

  • Understand the structure and dynamics of the organizations in which social intervention takes place;
  • Identify and map social problems, interpreting them through theoretical frameworks;
  • Develop the ability to critically observe social reality and institutions;
  • Systematize and analyze information relevant to the field of Social Work;
  • Understand the ethical and professional principles that guide professional practice;
  • Develop a preliminary assessment using action research methodologies;
  • Develop integration strategies within the internship context and understand the dynamics of mentoring and supervision;
  • Understand the rationale behind social intervention and select appropriate methods and techniques.
