The Rector of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, Prof.ª Doutora Isabel Capeloa Gil deliberated the opening of an international selection tender for one vacancy of doctorate junior researcher to perform duties of scientific research, on an exclusivity basis, in the scientific field of Philosophy, to be carried out at Centro de Estudos Filosóficos e Humanísticos (CEFH) research unit, integrated at Faculdade de Filosofia e Ciências Sociais of the Universidade Católica Portuguesa, in Braga, under the under the Strategic Research Project with reference UIDB/00683/2020 signed between the Fundação para a Ciência e Tecnologia, I.P. (FCT, IP) and the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP).
This contract aims to accomplish the following research goals and objectives:
a) To develop research within the scope of interdisciplinary projects that are carried out at CEFH, especially under the Topic 1 “Causal processes, complex systems and emergence”;
b) To collaborate in the promotion of scientific activities of the CEFH and in attracting funding;
c) To carry out qualitative and quantitative analyses using advanced methods;
d) To present papers in international scientific events;
e) To prepare, write and publish scientific papers in international scientific peer-review journals, especially in those indexed in Scopus or WoS;
f) To participate in all CEFH plenary meetings and in the regular research topic(s) seminars/meetings to which the researcher will be associated to;
g) Active collaboration with CEFH researchers’ who are more related to the research topic(s) to which the researcher will be associated to;
h) To support research projects carried out by CEFH PhD students;
i) To participate in the periodic research reports.
