- Analyze the specificity of literary representations in a diasporic context;
- Study literary narratives about mobility and exile, the transnational experience and multicultural clashes, the notions of identity and otherness;
- Discuss the question of (trans)national borders in literature.
- Contextualize the contribution of diaspora narratives within the history of Portuguese language literature.
- Critically analyze texts by diaspora authors around issues such as personal trajectory, discursive identity, cultural tradition, geographical mobility and artistic-literary expression.
