- Understand discourse as a means of self-construction and socialization;
- Acquire and identify the basic theoretical and methodological concepts in the field of linguistic theories and methods of discourse analysis;
- Identify the mechanisms of the conversion of language into discourse;
- Recognize discourse genres/types as updates of various linguistic-discursive strategies;
- Exercise competences of analysis of linguistic-discursive mechanisms;
- Exercise production competences in different discourse genres/types.
