Etelvina Nunes is an Associate Professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University. In her experience stands out the teaching at the University of Bamako (Mali) and at the Catholic University of West Africa (University Unit of Bamako) as a guest teacher.
Currently she is member of the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies of the Portuguese Catholic University. Her main areas of research are focused on Philosophical Anthropology, Bioethics and Phenomenology of otherness. Among the main authors studied are Levinas, Michel Henry, Ch. Taylor, Heidegger and Edith Stein. She is currently realized a post-doctorate on the theme: “Development of ‘personal being’: from a ‘temporal analogy’ to an ‘analogy of the person’ in Edith Stein’s Philosophy” under the guidance of Prof. Doctor Manuel Sumares.
