José Miguel Pereira Vilaça
He completed his PhD in Fundamentals of Computing at the University of Minho in 2009 with the thesis “Visual Functional Programming - An Approach Based On Interaction Nets”. He previously completed his degree in Mathematics and Computer Science in 2004, also at the University of Minho.
He is currently a lecturer at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Universidade
Catholic University, teaching computer science, data science, mathematics and multimedia.

He works on the application of technologies for a better world.
Sónia Catarina da Silva Cruz
She has a PhD in Educational Sciences, specializing in Educational Technology, from the University of Minho. She has been an assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University (Braga) since 2011 and a researcher at the Educational Technology Laboratory of the University of Coimbra.
She has developed a model for integrating Web 2.0 tools in order to guide students from consumers to producers of online information. Her research interests include the integration of ICT into the curriculum and learning and the construction of digital educational resources, particularly for mobile devices. Her latest research concerns the creation of gamified activities for learning History, her field of study, as well as the production of content based on apps with Artificial Intelligence technology. She is the author of several book chapters and articles published in national and international conference proceedings. In her professional activities, she has interacted with collaborators in co-authoring scientific papers.
Tiago Martins
He holds a PhD in Electronic and Computer Engineering from the University of Minho.
He is a guest lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University and other higher education institutions.
institutions. His main interests are in the areas of serious games, physical computing, computer vision, artificial intelligence and media arts. He is the author and editor of several international publications, including books, book chapters and conference proceedings.
He has published in several international scientific journals and conference proceedings indexed by ISI - Institute for Scientific Information, SCOPUS, among other references, and several of these publications have already been cited by the scientific community.
