There is a national shortage of ICT teachers. In order to
this problem, in addition to the initial training of teachers in this area, and using the RRP, the aim is to convert teachers with a teaching qualification, equipping them with the skills to teach ICT.
These short-term distance learning courses aim to bring teachers into contact with concepts and technologies so that they can use them and be able to teach them to young people, with a view to having a society that is better prepared for today's challenges.
Objectives
- Develop skills in core areas of information and communication technologies;
- Make advanced use of applications such as Word Processors, Spreadsheets and Multimedia Presentations;
- Create content for the Web;
- Interpreting the logic of information systems programming;
- Program using the essential repertoire of programming languages;
- Know the relational data model;
- Develop computer applications in SQL;
- Know the components and architectures of computer systems;
- Integrate AI resources into IS development;
- Building multimedia content.
Recipients
Primary and secondary school teachers who do not have a teaching qualification in ICT.
Access conditions
Hold a bachelor's or master's degree in teaching;
Selection and ranking criteria
Candidates will be selected and ranked according to the following criteria:
- Non-STEAM higher education (10 points);
- Professional teaching experience (10 points);
- Academic curriculum, taking into account the classification of academic degrees obtained (tie-breaking criterion).
The final ranking of candidates is expressed on a scale of 0 to 20 points.
Evaluation
Trainees will be assessed on a scale of 0 to 20 points in each of the
Curricular Units that are part of the syllabus, using the assessment instruments that will be defined by the teachers of those curricular units.
These assessment instruments must be consistent with the objectives and teaching
teaching methodologies to be developed in this Postgraduate course, and this consistency must be duly explained in the characterization sheets for the various curricular units, to be filled in by the teachers responsible for them and validated by the scientific coordination of the course.
