The Directorate of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Braga Regional Center of the Catholic University of Portugal welcomes manifestations of interest for a position as Invited Assistant Professor in the area of Communication Sciences, subarea of Strategic Communication.

The contract is intended to carry out the following functions:

a) teaching of the curricular units of Marketing and Public Relations, Advertising and Marketing Atelier, Strategic Communication or other curricular units equivalent to the Degree in Communication Sciences;

b) teaching of the curricular units of Digital Marketing, Media Literacy, Publics and Digital Audiences or other curricular units equivalent to the Master in Digital Communication;

c) research in the area of Communication Sciences, subarea of Strategic Communication, within the scope of the Center for Philosophical and Humanistic Studies and in an interdisciplinary context with the areas of philosophy, psychology and linguistics;

d) publication in Communication Sciences journals preferably indexed in Scopus or Web of Science;

e) organization of colloquiums and congresses in the field of Communication Sciences;

f) scientific and academic management in the field of Communication Sciences;

g) attracting funding for research projects and/or teaching in competitive tenders.
