From 23 August to 8 September, the 2024 Porto Book Fair took place in the Crystal Palace Gardens.

This edition was dedicated to honouring the poet Eugénio de Andrade, as part of the centenary of his birth. Cândido Oliveira Martins, lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University - Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, took part in a session presenting two books by Maria Bochicchio, Escrever o Corpo - Uma leitura da poesia de Eugénio de Andrade and Reflexos de um Poeta - A Última Entrevista de Eugénio de Andrade.
