Between 31 March and 4 April, the Portuguese team from the TESTEd Project - Towards a European Syllabus in Teacher Education, funded by the Erasmus+ Teacher Academy programme, took part in the project's final conference, held at Ruhr University in Bochum, Germany.

Under the theme ‘Teaching the Future - Re-Shaping the Present’, the event brought together partners from five European universities (Oulu, Cork, Seville, UCP-Braga and Bochum) to reflect on the challenges and opportunities in teacher training in the face of the social transformations underway in Europe.

The national team - made up of Professors Paulo Dias, Cândido Oliveira Martins, Catarina Vieira da Silva and researcher Raquel Rodrigues - took an active part in the discussions on transversal teaching practices, which included topics such as sustainability, citizenship, gender equality, cultural diversity, digitalisation and learning spaces.

The meeting marked the end of three years of collaborative work and laid the foundations for future partnerships and network projects.
