Global Challenges, Local Actions: Approaches to the SDGs
On October 20th, as part of the 9th edition of the International Student Meeting, the session "Cycle of Conferences on the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) – Braga | Global Challenges, Local Actions: Approaches to the SDGs" will take place. , in the Isidro Alves Auditorium of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga.
This will begin at 2:30 pm with a performance by Líricas - Tuna Feminina from UCP and a welcome from the Vice-Rector of UCP, Isabel Vasconcelos and the Pro-Rector of UCP, João Duque.
This is followed by an intervention by the Mayor of Braga, Ricardo Rio on Braga's contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) proposed by the United Nations. The moderation will be carried out by Carla Pinto Cardoso, member of the Board of Directors of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, Coordinator of the Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Tourism and professor at UCP.
From 3pm there will be a guided tour of the city that will feature challenging activities on the topic under debate.
The panel ends, at 5:30 pm, with a snack.
