UCP - Braga lecturer on the jury of the Miguel Torga Biographical Literature Grand Prize

On July 4, the 4th edition of the Miguel Torga Biographical Literature Grand Prize, instituted by the Portuguese Writers' Association (APE) and Coimbra City Council, was held at the Convento de São Francisco in Coimbra.

The jury, coordinated by José Manuel Mendes, President of the APE, consisted of Ana Margarida de Carvalho, writer; António Pedro Pita, lecturer at the University of Coimbra; and Cândido Oliveira Martins, lecturer at the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga. 

The book "O Firmamento é Negro e Não Azul - A vida de Luiz Pacheco" (Quetzal), by António Cândido Franco, was the big winner and received a prize of 12,500 euros.
