Liliana Trigueiros has been a visiting assistant professor at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) since 2009.
She has a degree in Psychology from the Portuguese Catholic University and a master's degree in Psychology of Justice and Deviant Behavior from the Portuguese Catholic University. She has a degree in Forensic Psychological Assessment from the University of Minho. She has a PhD in Psychology from the Faculty of Human and Social Sciences of the University of Algarve with a thesis on "Beliefs associated with drug use comparing consumers and non-consumers".
In terms of research, she is interested in exploring the following themes: recreational and non-problematic drug use; new addictive behaviors; intervention practices in residential care homes and emotional abuse in a religious context.
