The Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) celebrated the Christmas season under the motto "We are a Place of Encounter" and, at the Braga Campus, prepared a Christmas Solidarity Party for the Academic Community on December 14.

The celebrations began at 6pm with Mass in the Chapel of São Barnabé, presided over by the Primate Archbishop of Braga, Dom José Cordeiro.

This was followed by a dinner, the uneaten food from which was distributed to homeless people. 

Finally, there was a Solidarity Concert by Duarte Rosado SJ, aimed at helping disadvantaged people, free of charge, with hot chocolate.
