The Braga branch of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) is organizing a workshop on abuse of power and conscience on the 22nd of this month, from 3pm to 6pm.
The initiative "Overcoming the Tip of the Iceberg: Abuses of Power and Conscience" is organized by the Commission for the Protection of Vulnerable Adults of the Archdiocese of Braga and the UCP, according to a note sent to Agência ECCLESIA.
The workshop will take place in the Aula Magna Padre António Freire of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the UCP and will be given by Ianire Angulo Ordorika, professor of Theology at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Loyola, Campus of Granada (Spain).
According to the organizers, "the aim is to address this complex reality, get to know some of the elements that make it up and suggest useful keys for recognizing abusive dynamics in the way we relate to each other".
