Within the scope of the Transform4Europe project, which consists of including environmental awareness in the training of university students, a competition was launched, organized by the University of Trieste, for the creation of a sustainable business plan.
The main objective of this challenge is to spread the spirit of culture, innovation and sustainability in the academic field, as well as giving young people the opportunity to transform original ideas into expansion businesses at European level.
Students can carry out this task individually or in groups, although each group must be mixed and include at least five students from partner universities in the project. Optionally, employees of the academic institution may also be included in the working group.
Until the 31st of March, the business idea must be registered and, after a selection process, only 7 ideas will go on to the next stage. The second stage, which will run from mid-April to the end of May, will have the support of qualified professionals in the area, from entrepreneurs, consultants, to university professors, each group for the development of the idea and improvement of the business plans prepared.
The winning team will receive a prize of 5 thousand euros, in a ceremony to take place in early June.
