The Aula Magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga will once again host the Solemn Blessing and Awarding of Diplomas on Saturday 23rd November from 10.30am.
 
The event, which marks the end of a stage of training and the recognition of individual merit, is a privileged moment for the students who completed their 1st and 2nd cycle courses in the previous academic year, 2023-2024 - accompanied by their families - to meet with their classmates and teachers.

The ceremony began with a speech by the Pro-Rector of UCP-Braga, Paulo Dias, followed by the blessing of the diplomas by the Primate Archbishop of Braga, Dom José Cordeiro, who was represented by Canon Luís Miguel Rodrigues, Vice-Director of the Faculty of Theology, and the respective presentation to the students.

The words of a graduate will also be heard, representing all those present.

The academic choir of UCP-Braga will be the star of the show, which will close with speeches by the Rector of UCP, Isabel Capeloa Gil, and Canon Luís Miguel Rodrigues, Vice-Director of the Faculty of Theology.
