The Universidade Católica Portuguesa will receive the visit of Pope Francis on August 3, at 9 a.m., for the Meeting with University Students. Register now.
Given the size of the event, with limited capacity for security reasons, registration is mandatory. On the day of the event, access to the venue is from 5.00 a.m., with the access gates closing at 8.00 a.m.
At this Meeting with University Students, the Holy Father will hear testimonies from refugee students and young people involved in the "Global Education Pact", "The Economy of Francesco" initiative and the implementation of the encyclical Laudato si'. This will be followed by a speech by His Holiness, a prayer, the blessing of the first stone of the new campus of Católica (Campus Veritati) and the participation of the Choir of UCP.
This meeting, which is part of Pope Francis' official visit in the context of World Youth Day Lisbon 2023, is expected to be attended by around 7,000 people.
