On 15 November, at the Cardinal Medeiros auditorium in Lisbon, Paulo César Azevedo Dias took office as Pro-Rector of the Braga Campus of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP).
In his message to the academic community, the Pro-Rector accepts this challenge ‘with particular enthusiasm and a spirit of mission, always with the aim of promoting the best for our University, for the benefit of our students, all our employees and the community in general.’
He also expresses a word of deep recognition and gratitude to his predecessor, João Duque, a professor at UCP, ‘for his outstanding contribution in this position.’
The inauguration was part of the reappointment ceremony of the Rector, Isabel Capeloa Gil, which was attended by the Patriarch of Lisbon and UCP's Chancellor, Mgr Rui Valério.
