Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University - Braga Launches Solidarity Campaign to Support the Vida Norte Association
With the spirit of Christmas approaching, the Voluntaria*te group - UCP Volunteer Centre - Braga and the ‘Ser Social’ Commission - FFCS Social Work Student Commission, launched the solidarity campaign ‘Christmas is for everyone: The Joy of Giving’. The aim is to collect essential goods to support the Associação Vida Norte IPSS, an institution dedicated to supporting pregnant women and babies in vulnerable situations.
The campaign, which runs from 2 to 19 December, invites the entire academic community and the general population to contribute with donations such as nappies, wipes, ointments, powdered milk, porridge, shower gel, compresses and saline solution (unidoses). These goods will be given to the Vida Norte Association (Braga Delegation), helping to build an autonomous and happy life for babies and families.
To facilitate the delivery of donations, a dedicated space will be set up in the main atrium of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, where you can leave your contributions. In addition, students and other interested parties can get in touch via email at voluntariate.braga@ucp.pt or via the Instagram page @sersocial24 for more information about the campaign and other forms of support.
