On March 12, at 1pm, Ignatian Day will be celebrated at the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (FFCS) of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga. This is a special date for the academic community due to this institution's strong connection with the Society of Jesus.

The event will begin with a convivial lunch, followed by the dynamic “(In)decisions in life: 1 hour to make a decision?!”, which will provide participants with an opportunity to reflect on decisive moments in life. From 5:30 p.m., the Braga Academic Center (CAB) will host a sunset with lots of music and conviviality. To round off the festivities, dinner will be served to all those present.

The organizing committee for this event is made up of various groups from UCP - Braga, namely the CAB, the FFCS Students' Association, the Fratelli Tutti group and Rádio Sintoniza*Te.

Registration for the lunch is compulsory and can be done in person at the CAB or via the link.

The Society of Jesus was founded by Saint Ignatius of Loyola, a Spanish saint who was canonized on March 12, 1622. Although the memory of St. Ignatius is celebrated on July 31, March 12 is usually marked in schools and universities linked to the Society.
