This subject intends to:
- Encourage students to produce oral and written texts suitable for different communication situations;
- Identify the principles that regulate oral and written verbal activity and the conditions for communicative success in concrete situations of linguistic interaction;
- Acquire techniques of communication and oral and written expression to act effectively in various communication situations;
- Recognize the specificity of textual practices according to the type of activity developed;
- Develop grammatical, discursive, pragmatic and socio-cultural skills;
- Manipulate linguistic mechanisms responsible for textual organization and for marking enunciative responsibilities
- Master different modes of expression: describe, explain, expose, argue, narrate, etc;
- Develop proficiency in understanding and using multimodal texts and new modes of communication.
