
After a collaboration protocol was signed on January 16 at Casa de Camilo, in São Miguel de Seide, between 27 institutions in the Northern region, in a partnership coordinated by CCDR-N, this network was joined yesterday by six more municipal and cultural institutions, which signed the collaboration protocol.
Joining this network were the Municipality of Cabeceiras de Basto, represented by its president, Francisco Alves; the Municipality of Baião, represented by the head of the Culture Division, Rui Mendes; the Municipality of Maia, represented by the head of the Culture Division, Natália Barreiros; the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP), represented by the pro-rector of the Braga Campus, Paulo Dias; the Basto Training Center, represented by its director João de Sousa and the Árvore Cooperative, represented by its president José Emídio da Silva.
The aim of this network is to promote inter-institutional cooperation for the organization, promotion and promotion of a shared and integrated agenda of cultural, artistic, scientific and dissemination initiatives on the life and work of Camilo Castelo Branco, also stimulating co-productions and itinerancies, in the context of the bicentenary of his birth.
