On February 21, an open class entitled "Interdisciplinary Dialogues on Research and Discourse Analysis" was held in room 3.2 of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences of the Portuguese Catholic University (UCP) - Braga.
This event, organized as part of the Social Work degree course in collaboration with the humanities department, featured two presentations by international experts in the fields of Linguistics and Social Work, with the aim of exchanging knowledge and experiences.
The first, "Between Words and Meanings: Practices in enunciative-based Discourse Analysis" was given by Isabel Cristina Rodrigues, professor at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro and PhD in Language Studies; and the second, "Social Work & Research: Contributions to the Discussion", by Cláudia Mónica dos Santos, retired professor at the Federal University of Juiz de Fora and PhD in Social Work, moderated by UCP - Braga lecturers António Melo, Carla Tralhão and Daniela Monteiro.
This interdisciplinary and international meeting was an opportunity for students and teachers to debate the topics under discussion.
