The Braga Campus of the Catholic University of Portugal welcomed new students in the Aula Magna of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences, in a three-day Welcome Session.
As is customary, Professor João Duque, Pro-Rector of the UCP Braga Campus, began the session with a welcoming speech to the new students, congratulating them on their choice. This was followed by a round table with several students and alumni of UCP Braga, who shared tips and experiences about UCP. This day included performances by the UCP Braga Singing Group and the UCP Braga Women's Tuna, Líricas.
On the second day, the new students had the opportunity to learn more about the institution they had joined, with the panel “FFCS Open to the World - Future perspectives in an institution of the Society of Jesus” where the history of the Society of Jesus and UCP Braga was told, taking the students back to the historical past of the institution. To help students get to know the corners of the house, the Students' Association of the Faculty of Philosophy and Social Sciences (AEFFCS) organized a search paper.
The last day was followed by a presentation of the courses, services available at UCP Braga and the UCP4Sucess and UCP2MentalHealth projects. Students had the opportunity to interact and get to know their new colleagues with a social lunch and group activities.
These three days of welcoming ended with a sunset at the Miradouro do Campus Camões organized by AEFFCS.
