The Short Course in Management and Organization of Parish Social Action Institutions/Services aims, in the first instance, to promote the training of agents/actors of the Church's Social Pastoral (Institutions, Movements, Brotherhoods, Confraternities and other Formal and Informal Groups) with a view to maximizing the levels of efficiency and effectiveness underlying their intervention in the territories. Its structuring assumes Identity ("being Church") as a valuable, rare and inimitable resource whose combination with other resources through organized processes, structures and systems will contribute to leveraging the performance of the mission entrusted to Socio-Charitable Action in promoting Integral Human Development (IHD).
What are the objectives?
- Analyze the Challenges of Social Action in Ecclesial Communities;
- Identify the Basic Objectives and Operational Principles of the Church's Social Action;
- Deepen the Strategic Orientations inherent to the Intervention of each Organization/Service;
- Explore the Organizational Aspects that Facilitate Good Management of Social Pastoral Structures;
- Understand how the Church's Social Institutions can leverage their contribution to the promotion of Integral Human Development.
