On the 3rd of June, the Isidro Alves Auditorium of the Catholic University of Portugal (UCP) – Braga Regional Center will open its doors for the IV Philosophy of Religion Day, taking place between 9:30 am and 6:30 pm.
The main objective of this session is to reflect on the imperative of reconciliation and reparation, in the context of the crisis of abuse and war, as necessary conditions for opening paths of healing and peace.
Although certain fundamentalist currents with a religious content are associated with conflicting ideas, religion has also been an important historical factor in promoting personal harmony and social stability.
In this sense, the event features several thinkers in debate on this topic, with emphasis on Josep Maria Esquirol, renowned essayist and director of the interdisciplinary group Aporia.
