On December 5th, starting at 9:30 am, the Universidade Católica Portuguesa (UCP) - Braga joins the Community Support Center (CAB) to celebrate International Volunteer Day under the motto "Serving Together" for an action in S. José Asylum.
This initiative aims not only to recognize the importance of volunteering, but also to promote moments of affection and sharing with the elderly residents of Asilo S. José, through the involvement of volunteers, throughout the day, in activities dedicated to the residents of the respective asylum.
At 1:00 pm there will be a lunch at the CAB, which the academic community is invited to participate in. To guarantee participation in the lunch, a symbolic contribution of €2 is requested, intended to cover costs associated with the event.
This celebration highlights the transformative power of society when it comes together for noble causes.
