Cátia Marques Cebola is a law specialist with degrees from the University of Coimbra and a doctorate from the University of Salamanca. She has specialised training in mediation, including a programme at Harvard. She teaches at the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria and is an arbitrator in consumer disputes. She has published extensively on alternative dispute resolution and has received several awards.
