Yesterday, the vice-chancellor of the Portuguese Catholic University in Braga announced the opening of a Management course in Braga as a major new development for the next academic year.

"We have a very strong tradition in the field of Management. The Catholic University is the only one in Portugal that has two courses in the international rankings, which is a sign of the quality of the course. Our concern is not so much about comparison, but about bringing to Braga a course that has a long tradition at the Catholic University and that remains faithful to its core values," Paulo Dias told Diário do Minho.

As he explained, it is a course in which Management is very focused on the common good and social justice. ‘This will be very present in the subjects and then in the teaching of the course. Therefore, it will allow us to greatly strengthen the relationship with the context. In Braga, there will be a more applied dimension, in which we intend to very clearly reinforce the connection to reality, bringing companies to the Campus, bringing concrete problems that they face every day,’ emphasised the pro-rector of UCP in Braga.
