  • Understand the importance of context, discourses, and theories in social work practice, including an analysis of their implications for professional intervention.
  • Distinguish between discourses and theories, and understand how different perspectives influence the construction of knowledge and the definition of intervention strategies.
  • Identify the relationship between theory and practice in social work.
  • Understand and analyze the different intervention models, their characteristics, applicability, and limitations.
  • Apply the models studied in professional practice.
  • Apply intervention models appropriately and in a context-specific manner, adapting strategies to the needs of clients and communities.
  • Develop a reflective and critical approach to the models.
  • Integrate different models from an interdisciplinary perspective based on evidence-based, ethical, and innovative intervention practices.
